I'm a morning person, the moment my eyes peel open I go from 0 to 60 and I am completely and fully awake. Today I sprung up at 6:00, so much for a Sunday lie-in! It might help that breakfast is my absolutely favorite thing in the world. I will go to great lengths if there are promises of toast and eggs afterwards! A girls gotta have her motives.
Today I spent my early morning going to the farmers market and moseying around the neighborhood. Living in DC makes me feel like an explorer. I walk around the sidewalks, absolutely no idea where I am going, just letting my feet lead the way, discovering new and neat things the whole way. I also went to CVS, here a picture!
How can anyone not feel like an explorer walking down streets named after states? Florida Avenue morphs into Connecticut Avenue, after a while you are not sure if you are truly five minutes away from where you live or if you went for a jaunt across the country without noticing. It's fantastic. Then there are the embassy: Iraq, Australia, Sierra Leone, just a few that I passed by this morning. I should start bringing my passport on my strolls!
A fellow wanderer.
Restaurant getting a lazy Sunday start after a crazy Saturday night.
Another fantastic reason to get out and walk in the morning, there are so many dogs out and about!
I hope the owner of these stairs had a fantastic 21st :)
I keep thinking the ASS'N stands for assassin and wondering why they would advertise that fact so blatantly. DUH.
This passport office only added to my idea of being an explorer!
My theory is if I dress in workout clothes I will definitely, 1000%, for sure end up at the gym today. It hasn't worked yet, but I have high hopes I'll pull through in the end.
I hope you are all having a great Sunday full of adventure! I can't believe tomorrow is August 1st!
Ps. Shark Week starts tonight! Who's watching?!
Good pics, i also love ur blog's upper pic
