Thursday is the New Friday

Thursday is totally the new Friday. No class or internship tomorrow wooty woo! I will however, be at the hospital getting a bunch o' shots. Here are some instragrams of my life of late. Beginning with pigeons I walk by every morning before my internship...Please don't poop on me!

Joes Joes aka Trader Joes OREOS. I'm not fooled. I know what these are supposed to be...and they ARE SO MUCH BETTER. I have an addiction and I don't want a cure.

Not to brag but Roger is probably the best boyfriend ever. There I said it. (I would like to note I have the right to take back this title whenever I want, and I will probably do so within the next five minutes...he better enjoy it while it lasts) Anyway.....he came back with this Doctor Who game the other day because who knew I was stressing about school. Da best.

I Need Some Explanations...

Want to know who is excited for the weekend? This guy!! Holla! Just take in that glittering excitement in my eye. This first week of school has been crazy-cray busy and I'm right knackered....and sweaty...my apartment is very warm.


 

Here are some of the great mysteries I have encountered this week. Maybe you Nancy Drew's can help me solve some of these.

Mystery #1: These shoes. Pretty! Shiny! Glittery! I wore these on the first day of my internship and my dogs (mystery 1.5: why are feet called dogs? why not llamas or spaghetti?) are still achin'. How could something so beautiful be so painful? Lucky for them they look so good I would consider chopping off my pinky toe to keep wearing these.

(Joyful) Mystery #2: My printer started working WOOHOOO. Bad news: Now I have to read everything I printed.

Mystery #3: Where did all the cookie dough ice cream go? And who will be getting me more?

Mystery #4: What color should I paint my nails and why can't I stop picking at my nail polish when bored.

Most importantly mystery #5: How on earth did I get this highlighter going on here? Somehow...and I really really don't know how...my hair-tie got SOAKED in highlighter (which I used for approximately 1.2 seconds) and left these little tribal rings around my wrist all day. I just don't get it.

Commence the Weekend Countdown

Almost Friday, can I get an Amen?!?! I am very excited to commence with the weekend activities, I'm going home with Roger to his homestead, it will be a good time. I had my first day of my internship today and it went swell, I'm actually super excited about it wooho!!

Can you believe my parents still don't have electricity thanks to the big ol' meanie Irene? I would have given up the will to survive ages ago, but my parents are pioneers. Here are some pictures they snapped of poor little Clinton New Jersey.

Gives a whole new idea to riverside dining. Table for two please?

Idea for Clinton Travel Bureau: Ship in stingrays, set them free, allow people to feed them from these picnic benches. It will be a family affair and rake in millions.

Fact: Clinton has a rubber ducky race each year.

Here are a few snaps of my life lately. This was a class of priests-in-training who were having class outside. There is something pretty funny about a group twenty collared priesty-boys hanging outside. Forgive me Lord for I have sinned, I pretended to play be up to iPad tom foolery but really took a picture. Then you have the library, where I sneak off between classes for air conditioning and wireless. I enjoy both.



Check out my Tardis mug, so excited about it! Coffee just tastes better in a Time and Relative Dimension in Space. This salad is wayyyy beyond delicious and  I am borderline obsessed with this salad place. They are starting to recognize me, I'm both embarrassed and proud.


THIS GUM IS SOO GOOD.

That be all. I don't have any what I'm wearing pictures because I had my internship and took off me business time clothes the moment I walked through the door. Buttttt I got hit on by a bunch of homeless men in wheelchairs, so I must have been looking pretty swell.

First Day....checkkkk

Here is a picture of me looking epically into my future as a Masters student. I understand if you couldn't recognize me at first, I probably look wiser and smarter after my first day.

I have absolute no clue what this building is. I do however know it is not where I go to get my ID, I still am ID-less.

This just in I go to school at Hogwarts, I'm getting my masters in sorcery. 

Hello cathedral, It's a pleasure.

I got the first day jitters and ended up getting to school wayyy tooo early. Hark the benches that housed my bottom for a good half hour.

Anecdote: I got totally and COMPLETELY lost when going to my first class this morning. I spent a good fifteen minutes looking for a fifth floor in a four floor building, a search which took me to the roof THREE times (some people just never learn). It took some time but I finally realized that I confused the class listing as the room number. How did I ever make it to higher education?

Check out this wicked cute notebook I got at the bookstore!! It was labeled "Dogs wearing sweaters" Who with a heart could pass that up?!? I for one don't have that sort of strength.

My absolute favorite pens! Now I'm good to go!

What does this look like to you? A pile of books? Hmm..looks like $400(!!!!!!) to me!

Phew, I'm tired after my first day. Off to chug more coffee!
