Back to Reality (boo)





This post is powered by grilled tofu. Delicious, delicious tofu (and chicken, it's there too, I don't want to get any hate-mail from Bawk You Chicken). I would like to point out this has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of this post, I just really enjoyed this tofu.

Confession: Much like Bailey, I am exhausted. I got the Monday's and it's Wednesday, talk about biological confusion. I don't know up from down anymore.

I think this has everything to do with it. It's time to return to the good ol Washington D.C. Just look at this packing nightmare. Feel free to take a minute and pray for my soul. Because what is even worse than packing? UNPACKING. Oy. THE HORROR.

I also have to lift this heavy suitcase over my head to store it on the train. Hopefully I'll channel Superman today, gosh, I'd settle for Walrus Man (FYI I've been assured he is a real superhero).
Side note: I've been seeing a lot of "What's In My Purse" posts lately and being the incredibly nosy person I am I LOVE THEM. However, I'm not going to call you all liars, but y'all have the neatest and most organized bags I've ever seen! This my friends, this is reality (and I am so sorry for it). This hot mess is drowning in receipts, has no fewer than three packs of gum and more than six lip glosses. Let's just say I know who I would want to be stuck with in an elevator need be, and Katie is her name-o.
Let's get back to Bailey shall we? Home girl loves looking out windows. Here is a list of some of her favorite things to spot
1. Schoolbuses
2. Cats
3. Groundhogs
4. Hot air balloons
5. Joggers/Walkers/Anything with a heartbeat (and sometimes that isn't even a requirement)
6. Birds




She could do this for hours!




...And me again (durrr). Why hello there, this outfit says "Why yes I am traveling, but I'm fun too. Let's carry luggage and get drinks." You totally got that vibe, right?

Now if you will all excuse I have a train to catch. See ya come Thanksgiving New Jersey, it's been real. (Ps. I will miss you something awful). Here is a picture of me spotting my train, you can tell from the keen look in my eye.

    Your purse is very similar to mine...I love the pictures of Bailey looking out the window. My Bayley does that too. :)

    bahahah! great job on the honesty of what is in your purse! Mine is the same way, a huge frickin mess. Yesterday I found a loose piece of gum (no wrapper at all) melted to my lip gloss.

    hahahaha, love that last photo! and i totally agree, unpacking is way way worse than packing. i think it's because when you're packing there's a certain element of excitement whereas when you're unpacking there's a sense of dread that you're back from wherever you went, haha! ;)

    Packing.Arrrhh I hate packing, and you never end up wearing half of it. Always leave till the last min.
    Looking in your bag is like looking in myn. Whilst in Disney I bought the biggest key ring, I'm talking huge, for the sole purpose of finding my keys in my black hole of a bag. So much easier to find them now.

    I just love the way you write, it always puts me in a good mood.
