Summer + Katie 4EVA

It is with a heavy heart I publicly recognize summer is ending. Le sigh. Today my brother is coming to the District for school, and it's only weeks until I begin my career as a graduate student. They say if you love something let it go. Summer, I want you forever.

Bikini, I'm sorry we didn't spend more time at the beach, it ought to be a crime. Here's to next year, sunshine.

 What makes this picture so lovely? The fact that there is no snow on the ground!! I am going to have to spend some long hours with my therapist before I am ready to deal with snow again.

ICED TEA!! Iced tea is the very epitome of summer. Sure you can drink it in winter, but the sunshine of summer is what really gives it flavor.

Everyone remember the carpet debacle of 2011? I'm happy to announce that Roger has found a carpet that was not accessory to murder or laden with bedbugs. I'm sure we will all sleep more peacefully comforted by this fact.

Not wearing anything special today buttttttt I cut and dyed my hair? Can you tell?!?! This isn't the color advertised on the box...way darker, but I think I can work it.
