Plants A Plenty and Native Americans

Good Morning bookshelf and Roger's shoes.
Good morning birds that wont stop fighting outside my window.
 Good morning shadow
Good morning vitamins and pills I take by the bucket load.
Most importantly good morning eggs, toast, and facon (not a typo, it's meatless bacon). I love you. Same time tomorrow?

Great idea-Going to the United States Botanic Garden
Bad idea- Going to the United States Botanic Garden
Here's the thing- the garden was GORGEOUS, so, so, so glad I went. But green houses? They are very hottttttt in a world where it is already hot. My poor body didn't know how to handle this situation other than purge all the water in my bod. So to explain the lack of people pictures to follow- I was reduced to a puddle.
This plant was named Kramer's Supreme. Holla.

Venus Fly Trap! You can't really see but there was a fly on the rim of the pot, I just don't think he knew what he was getting into.

It smelt so amazing in here!

Roger and I sauntered over to the National Museum of the American Indian today, where I this kind indigenous citizen let me snap his picture. FYI he is doing the Buffalo Dance, I think Britney Spears could bring this back with her new video, here's to hoping.
No joke Native Americans are the original accessorizers, I want these boots.

For reasons unknown there was a DJ set up in the museum, made a girl want bust a move- You're welcome DC.
This sign cracked me up- Native Americans THEY'RE AMONGST US, THEY COULD BE ANYONE.
 Sweetest converse ever-BEADED!
I thought this was awesome, it's a copy of the Canadian Indian Act that this artist and her friends beaded over to obscure the parts no one agreed with. Can you say badass?

 Cool art!

And finally, What I wore today. Please note how I kept with the nature theme, I'm fluid like that. Also note although it looks like two of the flowers on my orchid are dead, it is more important to notice one is thriving. I like to think it is like Harry Potter- neither can survive while the other lives...half my plant is taking on for the team. I appreciate this.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have some freshly baked brownies to demolish.
