Phew! Graduate School is a lot of work! I spent yesterday trying to knock out a lot of my reading for the week. This could not be done without copious amount of snackage. Cookie dough, this one goes out to you.
Every now and then I would look longingly out my window for a chance of scenery. You grow little vines you grow.
This is my point of view for most of the day. All of my readings are too long to print out so I read them on my iPad while typing up notes on my computer. Technology, I love you.
Snack fiesta part two.
Larger perspective of my life.
I would like to note there was a Doctor Who break. Did anyone else watch? I SOBBED SO MUCH. (By the way, ignore how messy my computer screen is. Embarrassing).
The day ended with me getting LOCKED OUT OF MY APARTMENT. Here is a picture of my foot as proof, at this point I resigned myself to living a half life by the mailboxes, never able to fully enter the building. I would like to put it out there that while I was locked out of the apartment building Roger rested on the sofa IN OUR APARTMENT with his phone RIGHT NEXT to where he was lying. Unfortunately (for both of us) he didn't hear his phone the MILLIONS of times I called (and e-mailed) begging to be let in.
oh nooo! being locked out sucks! It's happened to me too many times. :oS
ReplyDeleteNice little update there! And my computer screen is always sooooo messy i swear i dont touch it much, clearly i do though haha

ReplyDeleteIsn't technology wonderful?! Hehe, the university I teach gives all students an iPad and MacBook, can you imagine anything better?! Whew grad school is hard work, you're making me sweat and I don't have any cookie dough to relieve the stress! Lol and hmmmmmmmm, Roger deserves to be locked out of the apartment I think;)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a perfect day to me (bar the locking out bit). Reading, snacking, watching tv. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am really really happy I don't have to learn anymore :)
ReplyDeleteGosh, your study session description reminds me of my student days (minus an iPad, plus lots of highlighted readings printed on paper).
